This stretch creates a separation in your vertebrae, which takes the load off your spinal discs and nerves while allowing your back muscles to fully relax and heal.

When you stretch your back with the Nubax Trio portable back traction device, it creates a negative vacuum in your spine.
Just enough pressure to “suck” your disc back into the spot it’s supposed to be in.
This “lifts” the disc off the nerve and relieves your pain – sometimes instantly.
As you lean forward in the Nubax machine, it decompresses and stretches your spine, creating a separation in your vertebrae, and relieving pressure on your spinal discs and nerves.
The best thing about the Nubax Trio is that you’ll only need 3-6 minutes of treatment per day, to get the most benefits out of it.
Nubax Trio Pros and Cons
The advantages of using the Nubax Trio include ease of use, effective stretch without hanging upside down, short treatment time (5 minutes) which is great for busy people, taking less space than gravity tables, easy storage, and allowing for adjustable tension when you stretch.
The disadvantages of the Nubax include not allowing for a neck stretch (only full back), having to bend your knees (not fit for people with knee pain), and lesser blood circulation boost than inversion tables.
How Do You Use the Nubax?

Nubax has two axes rotating around a central pivot point. You lie across the top of the frame with your hips on one axis and your shoulders on the other.
Gravity pulls you downward, creating a stretch along the spine that separates the vertebrae so that nutrients can enter the disc space. The pressure is then taken off the nerves with no bending or twisting involved.

Through my research, I’ve seen many people reporting immediate pain relief using the Nubax Trio back pain reliever, even after just one session.

Is it Painful to Use the Nubax Spinal Stretcher?
Some people are worried about the Nubax requiring you to bend on your knees to stretch your back, but if you’re worried about your knees or hips – don’t. You can simply put a thick pillow under your knees and some people use it on their bed.
The stretch itself can be somewhat painful, you’ll need to know when to stop to avoid further damage. That point is when the pain is unbearable.

Is the Nubax Easy To Assemble?
Like I’ve said before, 80-year-old people use it daily with no problems. It comes well packaged and well made. It takes 10 minutes max to put together and is easy to understand.
Your package will arrive with a short manual with a step-by-step (with pictures) guide to assembling the Nubax.
It also shows you how to adjust the shoulder pads and waist belt, how to get out of the Nubax (for those with joint problems), the best times to use it, and more useful info.

The Nubax weighs 16 pounds (size: 17 x 31.5 x 22.5 inches) and you can pick it up and easily store it under your bed, in a closet, or anywhere else with just a few feet of space.
Nubax Trio Side Effects
Using the Nubax back stretcher may cause an awkward and uncomfortable feeling on your shoulders. To prevent it, position the back of your upper arms against the pads, with your wrists on the handlebars. This takes the pressure off the shoulders.
It takes a little “playing around” and adjusting until you reach the most comfortable position.
We would also recommend using a thick pillow under your knees and placing your feet against the wall to keep your knees from moving backward

Nubax Trio vs. Inversion Table
Here are the most important differences between inversion tables and the Nubax:
1. The Nubax Trio spine decompression machine is smaller and takes up much less space than an inversion table. It’s portable, while an inversion table is not.
2. An inversion table will decompress your spine using the force of gravity. You invert at a certain angle (from as low as 30 degrees to full inversion – hanging upside down) and gravity pulls your vertebrae apart.
3. Some people are not very keen on hanging upside down, and it can cause a few temporary side effects, like dizziness and a slight headache. For others, inversion can be dangerous.
The Nubax Trio does not require hanging upside down at any angle, and spinal decompression is created through active stretching (but with very little effort on your part).
However, you can’t use it for neck traction, you’ll need a neck traction device or an inversion table for the neck area.
4. No Strain On Your Joints – The Nubax requires little effort on your part and causes no strain on other joints in your body.
Some people complain about joint strain from using an inversion table. You don’t have to worry about that with the Nubax Trio.

Conclusion
While chiropractor visits are very helpful for back pain relief, spinal decompression, and spine alignment, you can get the exact same benefits from the Nubax Trio – for a fraction of the cost – without spending hours going to and coming back from a chiropractor.
The Nubax Trio seems like a high-quality device, the stretch is powerful yet effortless and the treatment time is incredibly short, making it possible for anyone – no matter how busy they are.
Results are very good, and the only question is how long it will take to work, and not IF it works.
We would definitely recommend the Nubax Trio. It’s a highly effective device that will in the long term save you a lot of money and time.
I can’t claim this is the “only” treatment you’ll need to keep your back healthy and pain-free for the rest of your life since back pain is always caused by a combination of underlying causes.
However, the Nubax is a device that I recommend to everyone suffering from back pain and my preferred spinal decompression device (even more than inversion tables).
